Dear SU Football Alumnae-
I hope this update finds everyone well. The SFC is busy with following through with the initiatives I laid out in my last update. There are a few items I want to update you on, as well as remind you of other important dates.
First, the spring game will be April 20th at 7pm. Our Spring Game Planning Committee is working with the Football program to plan an exciting weekend where we have time to socialize with each other, see the progress of Syracuse Football in the spring game and an allotted event to sit and have time with Coach Brown to hear about the program goals and needs. During the weekend, there will be a Friday night SFC reception on 4/19 held at the Aloft Hotel, a Saturday tailgate before the game on Saturday, 4/20, and SFC alumni breakfast withCoach Brown and staff on Sunday 4/21. (Please be on the lookout for a survey and more information).
Some exciting new is that the SFC has entered a partnership with the ALOFT hotel in the Inner Harbor. We have reserved a block of rooms for the spring game weekend. In the fall, we will have our special rate for all home games. Please use the link below to reserve your room at our special rate. Please note that the last day to book will be March 19, 2024. Spring Ball begins on March 21st football alumni are welcome to attend practices. Coach Brown has identified April 6, April 11, and April 13 as practices with special access.
Syracuse Football Practice Visit Form
Markus Paul Foundation 4th Annual Golf Outing. Hold June 2 and June 3 for the Registration is now available via the foundation website at 4th Annual Markus Paul Foundation Golf Outing .
On June 2, Coach Brown plans to hold an elite football camp where alumni are invited to participate. More information to come, but please mark your calendars and make plans to show up and represent the best of Syracuse Football to top recruits.
September 6th and 7th Georgia Tech Game will be our fall reunion dates. A survey is coming out soon. Please take the time to read and complete the form. This will give us the feedback to allow us to plan a memorable and fun event for all SFC members. I would like to thank everyone for the calls and dialogue about your experiences with the SFC. Your
Officers and board members have dedicated themselves to listening to your feedback and advocating for the needs of our club and members with Syracuse University and the Football Program. Please keep those membership renewals and lifetime memberships coming. We appreciate your support.
Lastly, I would like to encourage everyone to reach out to each other and check in on your brothers. As we get older and further away from the time that we held in high esteem while at the university, it can get harder and harder. Health issues, family, relationships, finance, careers all play a part in our Psyche (either in a positive or negative way). That is why we should check in, reach out and make sure we are supporting each other in life after football (Players Helping Players). Feel free to use the communication
